An alternative view of striker's cracking half volley
There have been plenty of great moments in the club’s recent history since Lyle Taylor joined AFC Wimbledon, but we yesterday asked him to select his favourite goal.
Though goals in vital play-off games, including at Wembley, obviously meant so much to Lyle and the club, we asked him to select his best goal (not most important).
The answer was a brilliant strike from an acute angle against Hartlepool on Saturday 31 October.
Lyle said: “My most important goals came in the play-off semi-final, at Wembley, and in the win against Milton Keynes. There have been a few, but I would say in terms of technique, the half volley versus Hartlepool.”
