PREVIEW: Millwall v Wimbledon
Tonight’s match at Millwall has special significance for Paul Robinson, but the experienced defender is determined to mark the occasion with a victory.
Still revered at The Den by Lions fans, particularly for his winning goal in a play-off final at Wembley in 2010, Robinson is likely to get a great reception from the home faithful.
There are plenty of connections between the two clubs with Neal Ardley and Lyle Taylor both having also played for Millwall.

“I will be wearing that Wimbledon shirt and I will be wanting to win for Wimbledon. That’s the challenge for me and also the team. We want to give a good account of ourselves. Millwall are a good team. I think Millwall have had a bit of a struggle in form, but they have picked up in the last few games. They will be up there this season – I have no doubt about that. Having spent so many years there, for me to get an opportunity to go back to The Den, is something I am really looking forward to. The most important thing though is that we go there looking to get three points, but I will enjoy the occasion along the way.”
Neil Cox:
“You always look forward to going back to your old club and ‘Robbo’ was there for a long time. He was also captain of the club. Lyle also spent a bit of his career there as well. They will be looking forward to it, but we have to go there and do a job. We will have to pick a good side to try and win the game. That is going to be difficult because we’ve been playing really well. It’s a squad game and everyone is playing their part at the moment.”
Neil Harris:
"Robbo is a warrior at the back, he's extremely tough to play against and we will have to be at our best. I really look forward to his return tonight and I hope he gets the reception he deserves. AFC Wimbledon are a hard working team, they get the ball forward and have done really well. It's going to be a fiery London derby and a good test for us.
"I am looking for a strong reaction from my players tonight and we will have to be focused and fiesty to get a good result."
TEAM NEWS
Dean Parrett is suspended after picking up five bookings. Tonight’s match will come too soon for Darius Charles (thigh) and Andy Barcham (hamstring). Sean Kelly is back in full training after a thigh injury, but he is not deemed ready for a return.
For Millwall, Steve Morrison is definitely ruled out and fellow striker Lee Gregory faces a late fitness test.
