Deal with company is extended for another season

AFC Wimbledon are pleased to announce that our two-year partnership with Andrews Air Conditioning has been extended for the 2016/17 season.

The agreement will mean that the company will continued to provide portable PAC 22 air conditioners for the Cherry Red Records stadium, keeping hospitality areas comfortable for guests on match days.

As the UK’s largest supplier of air conditioning hire solutions, and with a local presence, Andrews Sykes was AFC Wimbledon’s first point of contact when the enquiry initially surfaced in July 2014.

Soaring temperatures this summer have meant that temporary units were needed even before our first league match – ensuring that guests remained cool during pre-season friendlies against Reading and Crystal Palace.

The equipment provided has consistently proven to be reliable in overcoming seasonal heat, thereby providing the perfect climate for guests in both lounges and the bar area.

Commercial Director Ivor Heller said: “We really appreciate a deal like this. We find it very useful that we have the air conditioning units to use on match days and other functions at the club, and wish to thank Andrews Sykes for their continued support.”

Andrews Air Conditioning work with a number of sports clubs across the UK and they are proud to play a part in enhancing the AFC Wimbledon corporate experience.

Members of staff will look forward to attending fixtures throughout the course of the season and the company wishes AFC Wimbledon a successful season in League One.
