Tyrone looking to figure against previous club
Tyrone Barnett will be hoping to put in another man-of-the-match display when previous club Shrewsbury Town visit on Saturday, 24 September.
The Dons new striker (pictured) picked up his first bottle of champagne, from match sponsors Chemflow, after last weekend’s first victory in Sky Bet League One over Chesterfield.
The Shrews won 2-0 in the last meeting between the two clubs in League Two, back on 14 February last year. It finished honours even in the last meeting at the Cherry Red Records Stadium, with a 2-2 draw on the opening day of season 2014/15.
The Dons rounded off season 2011/12 with a 3-1 victory over Shrewsbury at Kingsmeadow, with a goalless draw back on 29 October, 2011 at Greenhous Meadow.
