Club agrees fee with top-flight club
Neal Ardley today confirmed that AFC Wimbledon had come to an agreement with Premier League Stoke City about the transfer of Ryan Sweeney.
“It is quite clear,” said Neal. “The club has come to an agreement with Stoke City. An offer has been accepted by us and the player has been allowed to engage in talks with another club. We will see where it goes.”
The 19-year-old, who made 10 league appearances during last season’s promotion-winning campaign, came through our academy ranks and he was on the bench for our Wembley triumph in May.
