have built up a good understanding at the back and they put their bodies on the line at times. It can be a horrible scoreline when you are 1-0 up against 10 men and there is always an element of nerves when you are defending that lead. You can feel it and so too can the fans; you do not want to end up losing a goal near the end like we did last week.Andy Frampton and Alan Bennett“It is not easy to play against 10 men and overall we produced good play going forward and defensively,” Neal said. “

“You have to give credit to Wycombe in the second-half; they changed their shape around and caused us one or two problems. But we got there in the end and we could have added another goal during the latter stages. We saw it out with a professional performance."

Neal was particularly pleased with his side’s first-half display as they produced the high tempo football that he had called for in the build-up to this match.

“I thought that we were very good in the first-half,” he added. “I cannot remember them having too much of it before the break. That was before the sending off and it was good timing when we scored because it stopped them from sitting back too much with 10 men. We were the best team in the first-half and could have maybe been 2-0 up. We could have added to it in the end, but we will definitely take a win in our first home game of the season.”
