Neal said: “People are affected by war, in particular children, and to grow up in that life is a terrible thing. With War Child if you think of the joy and the help they bring to these people you realise what an unbelievable charity it is.

“Our Foundation has gone from strength to strength recently. Kids are inspired by sport and they can learn so much from it in terms of life skills, personal skills and education. What we can bring to the community is a wonderful thing and our Foundation is a big part of that.”

At the time of writing, 477 earphones have been sold for our campaign and we wish to thank all those people who have contributed.

Our campaign asks supporters to pre-order a high-spec pair of earphones for £20 that are designed in the AFC Wimbledon colours with a War Child mic.
