Ten of the best from a Dons favourite
With Christian Jolley having now completed a permanent move to Newport County this afternoon, the official website decided to remember 10 of his best moments in a Wimbledon shirt.
Obviously, these choices will be open to debate as Christian enjoyed so many great times during his two-and-a-half years at the club, but here are just some of the moments which stood out.

Mansfield 2 Wimbledon 5 (5/10/2010)
Christian was simply unstoppable as he tore the hosts to shreds at Field Mill. First, he set-up Sammy Moore for the opener after just 11 seconds and then Christian added the second himself for a rampant Wimbledon side on the day.
Wrexham 1 Wimbledon 2 (9/10/2010
In a Wimbledon victory which erased the memory of a controversial defeat at the same venue a season earlier, Christian struck one of the goals with a delightful volley from a Ryan Jackson cross.
Wimbledon 1 Fleetwood Town 0 (5/2/2011)
Though it was certainly not Christian’s best goal of his Wimbledon career, it was one of his most important as the Dons edged out one of their promotion rivals – and put down a marker for later in the season. Fleetwood goalkeeper Scott Davies made a hash of collecting Danny Kedwell’s header and Christian was in the right place at the right time to strike the winner.
Wimbledon 6 Fleetwood 1 (11/5/2011)
This time Christian’s goal was not so important as the Dons had already battered the Cod Army before he struck his fifth. However, Christian’s goal after entering as a substitute summed up his qualities. The pacy forward produced a superb run through the Fleetwood defence and though there was an element of fortune as Scott Davies saved his initial effort and Junior Brown made a hash of his clearance, it was a cool finish from Christian. Though Christian was an unused substitute in the play-off final at Manchester, he had played his part in a memorable season that put the Dons back where they belonged in the Football League.
Wimbledon 3 Port Vale 2 (3/9/2011)
Arguably Christian’s most memorable goal, certainly his most dramatic, with his winner coming in the sixth minute of injury time. After cutting in from the right, Christian surged past two challenges and smashed home emphatically from 20 yards.
Wimbledon 3 Gillingham 1 (1/10/2011)
The Dons faithful saw Christian at the top of his game during this match as he ruined Danny Kedwell’s Wimbledon return. His first goal was one that Thierry Henry in his prime would have been proud of as he opened up his body and swept the ball past Gillingham goalkeeper Ross Flitney with a sublime finish. There was more to come from Christian as he headed home from a Sam Hatton cross to maintain Wimbledon’s impressive start to life in League 2.
Bradford City 1 Wimbledon 2 (24/9/2011)
A trademark curler from Christian bagged the points for Terry Brown’s men at Valley Parade. Christian’s pace and running power was proving to be too much for League 2 defences, but Christian’s winner also showed he could be lethal in front of goal too as he continued his rich vein of form.
Morecambe 1 Wimbledon 2 (8/10/2011)
Christian got on the end of a Sam Hatton cross to head a superb winner – and it left Wimbledon’s travelling support in dream land. The Dons were up to third in League 2 and manager Terry Brown was even contemplating a promotion tilt such was Wimbledon’s flying form.
Crewe Alexandra 3 Wimbledon 3 (25/2/2012)
Another header from Christian completed a memorable fightback from the Dons. It looked all over when Crewe marched into a 3-1 lead, but Wimbledon threw caution to the wind and fought back in thrilling fashion with Christian’s header from a Jack Midson cross earning a share of the spoils.
