Music from an iconic band coming up
Fans of classic rock and roll are in for a treat on Saturday, 31 May, with live music from The Blockheads.
Formed in 1977, The Blockheads shot to the top of the charts when “Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick” launched their career onto the big time.
Despite the death of lead vocalist Ian Dury in 2000, The Blockheads are still going strong with current members including Derek Hussey (vocals), Chaz Jankel (keyboard/guitar), Norman Watt-Roy (bass guitar), Mick Gallagher (keyboard/piano), John Turnbull (vocals/guitar) and John Roberts (drums).
