Stadium School visit proves to be a hit
Pupils from St Mary’s School swapped the classroom for a football stadium last week with a visit to AFC Wimbledon and this story earned headlines in the local press.
Children from the school in Wimbledon participated in a creative writing class with a football theme, including sending letters to first-teamers Bayo Akinfenwa and James Shea. As well as meeting manager Neal Ardley, pupils were also taken on a stadium tour.
