Second chance to listen to Erik's interview

Erik Samuelson said that AFC Wimbledon retaining its fan-owned status is a “top priority” during an interview on BBC Radio Five Live last night.

Wimbledon’s Chief Executive was asked on a BBC business programme if supporters complaining about clubs spending lots of money to earn success was just down to ‘sour grapes’.

However, Erik said: “It’s not sour grapes on our part. We have made a decision about the way that we want to be, which is to be owned by the fans. We went back to the fans about 18 months ago and asked ‘is this how you still want it?’ We found that it was their top priority.”
