Final push for campaign

10 July 2015

You can still help until midnight on Saturday

We have had an overwhelming response to our month-long campaign for two great causes – and there’s still time to help us raise vital funds.

Wimbledon manager Neal Ardley and his players, along with England cricketer Mark Wood and John Green, have all stepped forward to back the campaign for War Child and the AFC Wimbledon Foundation.

With Dons supporters having shown fantastic support, it’s been a great team effort and at the current time of writing 650 blue and yellow earphones had been sold, surpassing the 500 target.

It will be the last chance for any Dons fans to order their limited edition earphones and support two great causes. War Child will be at the Cherry Red Records Stadium at the Watford game on Saturday and you can therefore support the campaign on its last day.

The campaign has focused on asking supporters to pre-order high quality blue and yellow earphones with all profits split between the two causes.

It has been a resounding success and has had support from all over the world and some of our high profile fans have also given it their backing. John Green recorded an episode of his podcast wearing a sample pair of the earphones and England Cricketer Mark Wood urged people to get behind a great club effort.

AFC Wimbledon management and players also helped the campaign to gather momentum and Sean Rigg is shown carrying a key message above.

We wish to thank everyone who has contributed to the campaign for their support.
