Neal Ardley's squad to attend Tuesday's game v Chelsea
AFC Wimbledon’s first-team squad will be out in force on Tuesday night to support the Under-18s against Chelsea after an FA Youth Cup run that Simon Bassey described as “fantastic”.
As part of a big club effort to support the young Dons in a last-16 tie, Neal Ardley’s squad will be offering their support for the game at the Cherry Red Records Stadium (7.05 pm kick-off).
“I think all the lads are going,” said Simon. “We are going to train in the afternoon on Tuesday and head down afterwards to support the youth team. They have done fantastic to get where they are now and they should be really proud of their achievements. It’s certainly going to be a stern test for them, but credit to the boys for what they have achieved so far.”
