Message from the club about Saturday's presentation
We have received some communications from fans disappointed that George Francomb did not attend the Man of the Match presentation after Saturday¹s game.
The club would like to apologise for this and make it clear that at the end of a very busy week some logistical errors were made in relation to this event.
We knew that the players were leaving the stadium soon after Saturday's game for a private Christmas celebration, but we failed to make allowance for this in our timings. George Francomb did come to the presentation, but eventually had to leave the stadium with the other players.
We have apologised to our sponsors and will make alternative arrangements for them to meet George. "I am sorry that I had to leave early. I meant no disrespect by doing so and look forward to meeting the sponsors at a future date."Speaking earlier today, George said:
