A summary of arrangements for friendly game
AFC Wimbledon take on Premier League Chelsea tomorrow in an exciting friendly match and this game at the Cherry Red Records Stadium is a sell-out.
No tickets will therefore be available to purchase on the day.
The match offers AFC Wimbledon’s new signings (including Adebayo Akinfenwa above) an opportunity to test themselves against quality opponents with Jose Mourinho’s first-team, supplemented by academy players, in opposition.
Below is a summary of match arrangements for tomorrow.
Ticket collection
Pre-ordered tickets yet to be collected can be picked up from the complimentary tickets window next to the players’ entrance.
Parking
Due to this match being a sell-out, the car parks are expected to get very busy much earlier than usual and fans are advised to arrive by 1.00 pm if they wish to ensure a parking space.
Fans can make use of parking in local residential areas, but please park with consideration when doing so.
Public transport
The Cherry Red Records Stadium is well served by public transport with Norbiton train station just a 10 minute walk. Trains run from Waterloo every 15 minutes via Clapham Junction and Wimbledon (terminating at Shepperton or Strawberry Hill). The 131 bus also stops just around the corner from the ground with a route both ways via Kingston, New Malden, Raynes Park, Wimbledon and Tooting.

Programme
A full programme, featuring Bayo Akinfenwa on the front cover, will be available at the usual price of £3. There’s a special feature on an excellent achievement from the AFC Wimbledon Academy as they recently earned category three status under the Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP).
