Event will be rescheduled for later in the year
The Dons Trust has announced that the Minithon fun run has been postponed until the autumn.
Regretfully, this is due to delays in registering the AFC Wimbledon Foundation with online donation services with a facility for Gift Aid.
The event was scheduled to take place on 19 April and the postponement means that AFC Wimbledon Sports Scientist Jason Moriarty (pictured above) will have to wait to defend the title he won when the Minithon was last staged in 2012.
A new date for the Minithon will be announced shortly. The Dons Trust apologises for any inconvenience caused participants who have already registered will be refunded.
The Minithon was to raise money for the Foundation’s Healthy Living Programme, and that programme will continue. Look out for announcements on this worthwhile project, which could make a real difference to the health of participants.
