Bars Manager wants your ideas
The AFC Wimbledon bars team want your help to launch a brand new ale that will be served up permanently on match days.
Currently labelled “AFC Wimbledon Cask Ale”, we are asking you to come up with a catchy alternative name – and in return the number one choice will be rewarded with a rather refreshing prize for true ale lovers!
The ale in question – specially brewed for us - is a full-bodied roasted malt flavour with a hint of caramel. The session ale (3.7 per cent ABV) also has a smooth hop character and bitterness derived from English hops.
In addition to this, 10p per pint will go directly to the We Are Wimbledon Fund, a successful fans initiative that donates funds to Neal Ardley’s playing budget. The supporter who selects our favourite entry will receive a free four pint jug of the ale before a match and be first to try the drink on the launch date (to be confirmed).
