Francomb models strip after first Dons training session
George Francomb came through his first pre-season training session back with the Dons today and he is pictured sporting the club’s new third kit.
Wimbledon’s latest signing was back in familiar surroundings at the New Malden training complex and he was pleased to complete his first day back at the club.
“I had kept myself ticking over during the summer, but this was my first pre-season training session,” said George. “We started off with a little bit of fartlek running and then did some tactical work with us playing out from the back. It was good to get back into it and to meet up with a few of the lads who I played with previously during my loan spell here.”
The new AFC Wimbledon third strip was voted for by supporters at the end of last season and it will be available to buy at our Meet the Manager event on Thursday, 4 July, and online soon.
