South Korea's number one noodle manufacturer sponsors the club
AFC Wimbledon are pleased to announce the launch of a new commercial partnership with Nongshim, South Korea’s number one noodle manufacturer.
The deal, which will run until the end of the season, will see the chance for Nongshim products to be sampled at the Cherry Red Records Stadium before this Saturday’s Wycombe game, along with the Port Vale and Burton Albion matches.
Nongshim will also become the official sponsor of the new North Stand from the Port Vale game on the 24 January, a match that is being shown live on Sky Sports.
The sponsorship was brokered by Korea Foods, the largest importer, retailer and distributor of Korean food in Europe who are based locally to AFC Wimbledon in New Malden.
AFC Wimbledon are based so close to what is known as London’s Korea town in New Malden that the partnership with one of the largest Korean brands makes sense.” Dan Suh, Managing Director of Korea Foods, said: “We are constantly looking at ways we can introduce Korean foods to a wider audience and integrate the Korean and English communities.
We watched the game versus Torquay with Korea Foods and despite the result we loved the atmosphere within the stadium.” Cheol-Joo Kim, Team Manager of International Sales at Nongshim, said: “We are delighted to be able to support AFC Wimbledon and give their fans the chance to sample some of our products.

The Korea Foods – Nongshim Noodle tent will be in action before the next 3 home AFC Wimbledon matches at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.
