Live acts on stage this Friday
A great night of music is lined-up for this Friday at the club with The Meteors taking to the stage as part of Kingsmeadow Live.
Renowned English psychobilly band The Meteors will be supported by The Wonder Beers, consisting of local boys fronted by AFC Wimbledon supporter Peter Gwilt.
Formed in 1980, London band The Meteors are often credited with giving the psychobilly subgenre—which fuses punk rock with rockabilly—its distinctive sound and style.
The Meteors are the first band to self-identify as psychobilly, and are often credited with the distinction of being the only "pure" psychobilly band among fans of the subgenre.
