Wimbledon hero died today
The club is sad to hear that Wimbledon hero Roy Law died earlier today and a minute’s silence will be held before tomorrow’s match at home to Bury.
A true Wimbledon legend, Roy captained the Dons to 1963 FA Amateur Cup success with Sutton United beaten 4-2 in a thrilling Wembley final.
Roy was also Wimbledon’s record appearance holder as he played 644 times for the club between 1958 and 1972.
