Get your application in for an exciting season ahead
With AFC Wimbledon having earned a fantastic promotion to League 1, there has been an increase in the number of season ticket applications for 2016/17, especially from fans requesting seats.
The office team are working their way through the applications and this article is to bring you up to date.
Nonetheless, given that in previous years the renewal rate for the Paul Strank stand has been 98 per cent, we expect that very few seats will become available in that stand. We always aim to keep a balance between seats sold as STs and being able to offer some seats on a match-by-match basis. However, given this year’s demand, which far outnumbers the seats we’ve traditionally made available for ST holders, we are assessing whether or not we can release more seats for use by season ticket holders.
When fans apply for the Paul Strank Stand and no seats are available, we then look to place them in the John Green Stand. At the moment, it is not clear whether or not there will be sufficient seats available to meet demand, even after we reassess how many seats are available. Any applicants who don’t get a seat will be offered a terrace place or a refund.
In other words, the fact that your cheque has been cashed does not necessarily mean that your application has been successful. In the meantime, we remind you that the club’s policy is to take payment at the time of application and offer a refund if you aren’t satisfied with the seat or terrace place we can offer you. All of this takes time and so we ask fans to be patient.
