Strutton back at Wimbledon
Striker returns in time for Hartlepool match
Charlie Strutton is back with AFC Wimbledon after his prolific loan spell at Braintree Town and he will travel with the squad for tomorrow night’s match at Hartlepool United.
Manager Neal Ardley has decided not to extend the striker’s loan spell with the Conference club and Strutton (pictured) will therefore be in contention for Wimbledon’s visit to Victoria Park.
Strutton scored six goals in seven matches during his one-month loan spell at Braintree Town to help the Essex club up to fourth in the Conference National table.
It was initially thought that Harry Pell had picked up his fifth booking of the season at Morecambe on Saturday, which would have meant a one-match ban, but it was only his fourth yellow card and he is therefore available tomorrow night.
