Dons on the red carpet

Neal Ardley and his players will be swapping the football pitch for the red carpet on Sunday, 16 August, as part of an exclusive screening of the film Paper Towns.

AFC Wimbledon has teamed up with Wimbledon Odeon to host this event due to the club’s association with American author John Green as the film is based on his 2008 novel.

We are hoping that Dons supporters will get behind this event, bringing their scarves and flags along on the night. Cameras will be present on the night to record vox-pops and interviews so that we can send a clear message back to John Green for his support of the club.

John Green has recently extended his partnership with us by sponsoring the North Stand, (now known as 'The John Green Stand'). You can help us show our appreciation by coming along and supporting the launch, which will be an evening you'll never forget.

.websiteBookings for the evening can now be made via the Wimbledon Odeon

We expect this preview screening to sell-out as there are only a limited number of seats. To ensure you don't miss out on a memorable night we recommend booking tickets as early as possible.

There will also be goodie bags available to purchase on the night and these will include:

- Paper Towns book

- The Fault in Our Stars DVD

- Paper Towns official A3 poster

- Paper Towns badges

- AFC Wimbledon matchday programme

“'Adapted from the bestselling novel by author John Green ("The Fault in Our Stars"), Paper Town is a coming-of-age story focusing on Quentin and his enigmatic neighbour Margo, who loved mysteries so much she became one. After taking him on an all-night adventure through their hometown, Margo suddenly disappears--leaving behind cryptic clues for Quentin to decipher. The search leads Quentin and his quick-witted friends on an exhilarating adventure that is equal parts hilarious and moving. Ultimately, to track down Margo, Quentin must find a deeper understanding of true friendship--and true love."

Once again, we are extremely grateful to John Green for his continued support of the club and we wish you will all to join us in celebrating his achievements and making this film and night a huge success.
