Jason Prior ready for comeback tomorrow night

Neal Ardley has confirmed that Jason Prior will make his Wimbledon return tomorrow night in the Surrey Senior Cup.

The striker, who has been out of the first-team picture for eight months after suffering a double leg break at Crawley in April, is pencilled in to play for an hour against Ashford Town in the second round tie (7.45pm kick-off at the Cherry Red Records Stadium).

Several other senior players on the way back after injury will also feature, including Warren Cummings, Mat Mitchel-King and Pim Balkestein, while the likes of Kieran Djilali and Ryan Hervel will also boost their match fitness.

Neal Ardley said: “I will look to give Jason an hour tomorrow night and it will also give some of our other players a chance to get game time. Going into a busy Christmas period, we need everyone fit and well. It is important that one or two players who we may need during that spell get that match fitness edge.”

Entry to tomorrow's match will be just £5 for adults and £2 for children with the Paul Strank stand and the Tempest End both open on the night.
