New volunteer post created to help the club's volunteers
We are aiming to recruit a Volunteer Liaison Officer (VLO) and the closing date for the role is this Friday.
The VLO will be responsible for setting up and maintaining a recognised and inclusive framework to ensure all volunteers work comfortably within their role and feel valued. The role covers volunteering for both AFC Wimbledon and the Dons Trust.
Initially, the focus will be to introduce and raise the profile of the Dons Volunteer Network (DVN). Once this is established, the VLO is expected to maintain and further develop the DVN. Much of the framework has already been created by the Dons Trust People Group.
This is a volunteer position. It is expected that the hours will be quite demanding at first and then agreed later as the role becomes established and will involve some working on matchdays.
