Profile: An agile and commanding goalkeeper, Chelmsford-born James began his career at Heybridge Swifts before stints at Ipswich Town (2 appearances), Blackpool (16 appearances) where he was part of the Tangerines LDV Vans Trophy winning squad, Peterborough United (3 appearances), Dagenham & Redbridge and Gravesend & Northfleet. Signed for Eastleigh from Fisher Athletic in October 2006 and joined AFC Wimbledon from the Spitfires in January 2008, initially on a two-month loan, before signing a permanent deal soon afterwards.
