Experienced right-back signed in May 2013 from Barnet, who released him after their relegation from League Two.
He was appointed club vice captain for the 2013/14 season. Barry began with Charlton Athletic, progressing through the academy to captain the reserves, but he failed to make the first team and in January 2006 was loaned to Barnet, where he remained until the end of the season. That summer he moved to Stevenage Borough and helped them to FA Trophy success in the first competitive final staged at the new Wembley Stadium, and in January 2008 he followed former Borough manager Mark Stimson to Gillingham.
Barry became the Gills’ captain the following October and led them to promotion to League One via the 2009 play-offs. In summer 2012, after 151 appearances for the Kent side, he joined Barnet. In his first season at AFC Wimbledon, Barry was almost ever-present for the Dons, and his consistency and rugged performances earned him the Player of the Year award.
Of course, Barry captained the Dons to play-off glory at Wembley in May to earn another promotion in his career.
