Versatile left-back who can also play at right-back and in midfield, signed in June 2015 after leaving Oxford United.
This is his second spell with the Dons: he joined on loan in November 2012 and stayed to the end of the season, winning the Young Player of the Year award. Jon came through the Cardiff Academy under the guidance of Neal Ardley, graduating to the Bluebirds’ reserves and gaining experience during a three-month loan spell in Norway before signing for AFC Bournemouth in summer 2012.
His debut with new club Oxford United was delayed by an injury suffered in July 2013 in pre-season, and he made just eight appearances for the U’s in his two seasons there.
Jon made the left-back position his own after returning to Wimbledon, before suffering an injury against Dagenham that ended the regular season for him. However, he did make it back to feature as a substitute in the play-off final victory against Plymouth Argyle.
