Paul started his career as a trainee at Millwall and he went onto make over 300 appearances for the club.
During his time with The Lions, his whole-hearted displays at the centre of defence made Paul a favourite with Millwall supporters. One of the highlights for Paul was helping Millwall back into the Championship via the play-offs with his goal at Wembley proving crucial to promotion.
Paul left Millwall, initially on loan, to join Portsmouth in 2014 and the deal later became permanent. Despite an impressive season with Pompey, Paul was allowed to leave and he signed for AFC Wimbledon just before the start of 2015/16.
A superb first season with the Dons ended with Paul named as Player of the Year, before he helped the Dons to promotion glory at Wembley.
