Make the most of your first visit to AFC Wimbledon
For people thinking of visiting AFC Wimbledon for the first time, we have put together information to make your first visit run a lot smoother.
Our location:
The club is based at the Cherry Red Records Stadium, Jack Goodchild Way, 422a Kingston Road, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, KT1 3PB. The stadium has a capacity of just over 5,000 with over 2,000 seats in the Paul Strank Stand and the North Stand.
Tickets:
Tickets usually go on sale two or three weeks before a game and can be bought online from the ticket shop. Visit our how to buy tickets section for details or buy in person from the ground during normal office hours. With the exception of the really big games at AFC Wimbledon, you should be able to get a seat in the North Stand. This is where our family area is located. There are two terrace areas at the ground. The Tempest (or South Stand) is almost fully occupied by home season ticket holders, but the East Stand is divided between home and away supporters. Visiting fans can gain entry via the access road off Kingston Road. AFC Wimbledon will decide on a match-by-match basis if away supporters are allowed into the bars at the stadium.
Parking and travel:
Parking at AFC Wimbledon is on a first come, first served basis with space for up to 200 cars. A total of 30 spaces are reserved for disabled people. This offers priority, but not a guarantee of a parking space for those people with disabled blue badges. There is also parking in residential areas nearby, though we request that supporters are considerate when doing this.
Our ground is particularly well located for public transport. The nearest train station is Norbiton, approximately 15 minutes walk away, with trains running regularly from London Waterloo. The 131 bus stops opposite the stadium and runs from both Wimbledon train station and Kingston town centre. For more information, go to our Visit Us section.
Contact us:
AFC Wimbledon is a welcoming place on matchdays with catering vans outside and two bar areas inside. The back bar holds up to 150 people on matchdays due to the carvery and the middle bar has a capacity of 300 people.
