Matchday access

The Cherry Red Records Stadium will open for home fans two hours before kick off, and we advise fans to arrive as early as possible.

Away supporters can arrive from 90 minutes before kick off. Supporters must enter the stadium via the designated entrance for their stand which is indicated on their ticket. Additionally, fans will be required to go through security where they may be searched.

Please check latest matchday news announcements for any changes to these arrangements.

Below is a colour-coded map of the stadium entrances to help fans find their allocated point of entry.

All home fans will enter via the Plough Lane end of the stadium only. Please note that fans in the Reston Waste Stand or Ry Stand can only enter via Gates 3, 4 and 5. Fans seated in the Cappagh Stand can only enter via Gate 2.

Fans who have purchased a hospitality package should enter the stadium via Gate 1. This is through the main entrance and to the left, just before you reach the club shop entrance.

Away fans can access the stadium by Gate 7, which is accessed via St Martin's Way or Maskell Road.

Cup game tickets

The ticket details for cup games may vary from those of league games, and important information for each of those matches can be found in advance on this website.

Please note that there is a postage when purchasing tickets to be posted to your address.

Public transport

The stadium is well served by public transport links, with Earlsfield Station (trains to Waterloo and the South West), Haydons Road (Thameslink and Southern trains to the South Coast, Central London and Hertfordshire) and Tooting Broadway (Tube Northern Line) all within walking distance.

A number of bus services run along Garratt Lane between Earlsfield and Tooting Broadway, while the 493 bus runs from Wimbledon Station (Tube District Line, Tram, South Western Railway and Thameslink) directly outside Plough Lane Stadium.

Below is a map of all TFL links to the Cherry Red Records Stadium.

Parking

There will be no parking on site (accessible spectators will be given separate guidelines). Where possible, supporters are advised to travel by public transport as parking spaces cannot be guaranteed.

You may wish to consult Merton Borough Council and Wandsworth Borough Council websites for parking restrictions around the Plough Lane area. Wandsworth operates additional matchday parking restrictions in the CPZs near to the Cherry Red Records Stadium.

Cycle store

The cycle store will be open before each game, located behind the Ry Stand. Please note that all bikes MUST be collected after the game. There will be a steward at the cycle store, but fans will leave their bikes at their own risk.

We’ve got one of THE best food parks around and you can also enjoy a bite to eat from kiosks in the Cappagh (West Stand). Our By The Horns Phoenix Pub is the place for quality beers, so enjoy a nice tipple or two after choosing from a wide range of culinary delights. We have a food park located behind the Reston Waste Stand (South Stand). Food is served up by several different cuisines from local businesses on a matchday.

For supporters in the Cappagh Stand, you can get your matchday pint in extra quick time by accessing our new EBAR machines, which we are using on a trial basis. Fans can buy pints of Lager, Camden Pale Ale and Guinness from the EBAR.

The food trucks will open two hours before kick off, with The Phoenix Pub (By The Horns) opening at the same time. The Phoenix will also serve spirits. Please note that the full range of spirits will be available from after the final whistle until closing time. Pre-mixed cans will be available prior to the final whistle.

You can find out more about The Phoenix Pub and how it operates on non-matchdays on the By The Horns website

All fans will have access to food and drink concessions around the stadium including the food park behind the Reston Waste Stand. Unfortunately due to fire regulations, fans in the Ry and Reston Waste Stands will not have access to the first floor concessions in the Cappagh Stand. As a result, all fans seated in the Cappagh Stand will need to show their match ticket or have their hand stamped in order to get back to the first floor concourse.

Following discussions with the EFL, the Safety Advisory Group Chair, and the Met Police, supporters will be permitted to bring drinks of water in clear plastic bottles into our stadium.

This will be in the form of 500 ml (or less) clear plastic bottles (an equivalent drinks container as used by children under 16 or those with medical requirements is also permitted). Please note that bottle tops will also not be removed by matchday stewards.

What bottles can you bring into the stadium?

Clear plastic bottles (500 ml or less).

Unopened fizzy drinks bottles (500 ml or less) can also be brought into the stadium, along with 500 ml containers.

If the top of a bottle/container has been opened prior to entering the turnstiles we reserve the right to check for alcohol content so we can do our best to avoid spectators drinking in view of the pitch. If alcohol is found in bottles the contents will be fully dispensed prior to admission.

Further information is in our news announcement from September 2023.

The man of the match presentation will be hosted in the Viticult Lounge after home matches (at approximately 5.20 pm for 3pm KOs).

Those who have booked hospitality will be invited to stay on for post-match, but all supporters will be welcome upstairs to enjoy a drink or two and the entertainment.

For those not in hospitality, you will need to join a queue close to the autograph zone in the undercroft. You will then be shown to the Viticult Lounge/Mezzanine area for the presentation.

If you are sitting in the Cappagh Stand for the game please use the stairs in the pub, or if you are sitting in the Ry or Reston Waste Stand, please make your way across the area behind the Reston Waste Stand and past the pub.

Unfortunately, no spectators will be able to leave the ground and re-enter to access the queue as this goes against our licensing terms.

Entry is on a first-come, first-serve basis, with fans will only allowed up once it is safe to do so after fans leaving the ground post-match.

Supporter Liaison Officers: Paul Raymond, Anuk Teasdale, Tim Hillier

Supporter Liaison Officers (SLOs) are a bridge between the fans and the club and help to improve the dialogue between the two sides. Their work is dependent on the information they receive from both sides and the credibility they enjoy with both parties.

The SLO informs fans about relevant decisions made by the club management and, in the other direction, communicates the points of view of fans to the club management.

The SLO builds relationships not just with various fan groups and initiatives but also with the police and security officers. The SLO engages with SLOs of other clubs before matches to contribute to supporters behave in accordance with security guidelines.

To help reduce queues at checkpoints, we ask fans not to bring bags into the stadium where possible.

If essential, then please only bring an A5 sized bag (21cm x 15 cm x 10cm) or a clear bag only. Large bags or suitcases (including cabin bags) are not permitted.

If you do bring a bag with you to the game, our matchday staff may wish to search it before entering to the ground.

Buggies/pushchairs are not allowed in the ground but can be left with a steward at the turnstile who will keep it safe until after the match or in our bike store which is at the top end of the Ry Stand near Gate 5.

The Club will operate a cashless stadium for this season..

To help cashless operations run smoothly at our stadium, we’ll have more card machines available to our golden goal and programme sellers, plus more points to purchase programmes, including behind all the main concourse bars.

However, we will be selling tokens in the Club Shop – only in £1 denominations – which can be used to purchase programmes and golden goal tickets on matchdays.

Please note that you can only redeem the tokens from volunteer programme and golden goal sellers - not via the Club Shop or kiosks.

This is subject to availability and strictly limited to those supporters who don’t have a current bank account, means to pay via card, or the opportunity to have a fellow fan purchase on their behalf.

The club has implemented a reusable beer cup scheme to replace all single use plastic pint cups around the stadium. Once fans have finished their beer, they are required to put these cups within the reusable cup bins located around the stadium.

The matchday programme 'COYD' can be purchased for £3 at the club shop and also inside each of our four stands. Sellers will also be positioned outside the Cappagh Stand entrance and along Plough Lane.

Please note that we now operate a fully cashless stadium.
