Match Details: Tickets left to show your support for the Dons

Plenty going on at your club tomorrow

6 April 2018

AFC Wimbledon will on Saturday be aiming for three vital points in the battle to stay in League One and tickets are available for you to get behind the Dons.

With just seven games to go, Neal Ardley yesterday called for everyone to pull together in a collective push for safety and a cracking atmosphere at the Cherry Red Records Stadium will really help the team.

Play-off hopefuls Scunthorpe seek the points for completely different reasons and your support can make the difference. Come On You Dons!

Below is a summary of ticket availability and other match arrangements.

Tickets

Seat tickets are sold out, but we have availability for the popular Chemflow End and the RyGas terrace (just £17 for adults). Get your ticket in advance via the online ticket shop and you can pick-up pre-match from the white booth in Jack Goodchild Way. Alternatively, you can pay on the day at the turnstiles.

Minute's applause

There will be a pre-match tribute to former England international Ray Wilkins, who sadly died on Wednesday. Join us in saluting a true football hero by showing your appreciation.

Warren's Half-time challenge

Warren Palmer from High Path will be aiming to hit the back of the net tomorrow! Warren (pictured above at the training ground with his favourite player Dean Parrett) is aiming to raise £500 for the Paul Strank Charity Trust and you can donate via his Just Giving page.

Stick around at half-time to watch Warren in action and you can take a look at his warm-up video at the training ground via the link below.

Dons Trust kiosk

Dons Trust members and people interested in the work of the Trust are welcome to visit the Dons Trust kiosk before the match.

Come and ask board members Matthew Breach and Jane Lonsdale about the work of the board generally or their own specific roles. As well as serving as Vice Chair of the Trust, Matt is a member of the oversight committee and strategy & organisation committee. Jane Lonsdale is a member of the engagement & communications committee. You can also join the Trust or renew your membership at the kiosk, sign up to the Dons Draw (our regular monthly lottery) or donate loose change.

If anyone has any queries relating to the Diversity and Inclusion group, as mentioned in this article on the Dons Trust website, you can talk to Jane Lonsdale at the kiosk. Any supporters interested in the Junior Dons roles can also speak to Jane at the same place. Read about the vacancies by visiting the Dons Trust website.

Bars

These will be open from 12 noon tomorrow and we will be pleased to welcome Scunthorpe supporters into the bar areas.

A wide range of drinks will be available with supporters able to choose from a cracking selection of ales, which includes those listed below.

Your Golf Travel Bar: Plough Lane Ale, Wimbledon Copper Ale, Wimbledon Windmill

Back Bar: Plough Lane Ale, Wimbledon Common, Wimbledon Windmill

Heineken will also be served at the bars.

Fancy speeding up your half-time waiting time at the bars? If so, pre-order your drinks by simply asking a member of the bar team.

There's plenty of incentive to make a day of it at the club with the early derby match between Everton and Liverpool shown on TV screens at the bars, followed by Man City versus Man United (5.30 pm kick-off).

Please note that all the bars will close at 9.00 pm on Saturday.

Level Playing Field Week of Action

AFC Wimbledon will on Saturday be celebrating the match day experience for disabled fans. This is part of a nationwide initiative and first-team players will be wearing Level Playing Field T-shirts in the pre-match warm-up to support a great cause. Our friends from High Path Community Resource Centre will be at the game on Saturday, highlighting the excellent work that goes on at this facility in South Wimbledon.

Match Programme

Packed with features, interviews and news from around your club, Saturday's edition is well worth getting your hands on. Dean Parrett is the subject of our main player interview. The midfielder talks positively about overcoming the latest obstacle in his career – a long-term injury this season – and helping the Dons to stay up. Dons Draw supremo Neil Messenbird is featured in our series of interviews with dedicated club volunteers.

Parking

This will be limited tomorrow due to an athletics event taking place at the nearby Kingsmeadow Athletics Centre. Parking will therefore be restricted in the grass car park, so it's advisable to arrive early if you want to get a place.

Tickets for away games

Supporters can buy tickets for the matches at Walsall and Wigan from the complimentary tickets window. You can buy before the match and for a short time afterwards.
