Christian is inspired by Olympic winner
Christian Jolley believes the visit of Olympic gold medal winner Sophie Hosking can inspire AFC Wimbledon’s players on Saturday.
Speaking in an audio interview for Dons Player, Christian is hoping that Terry Brown’s men can pull off another vital win against Dagenham & Redbridge, nearly six months after our 2-1 victory at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.
“Sophie might have a few words of wisdom for us,” Christian said. “She has probably been through a few hard times to get where she has in the end. We know we will get there and it will be a great honour to spend time with an Olympic gold medal winner. Dagenham is a massive game for us. We are a close-knit bunch and hopefully we will all pull through this together. The supporters were there right until the end at Bradford. They always stick with us and I would like to thank them for that. Hopefully, we can put in a big performance for the supporters on Saturday.”
