The Dons handed Southend trip
AFC Wimbledon have been handed a trip to Southend United in the first round of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.
This morning’s live draw on Sky Sports programme Soccer AM paired the Dons with Southend and Terry Brown’s men will make the trip to Roots Hall in the week commencing 3 September.
The Dons were last season eliminated on penalties in the southern section quarter-final by eventual finalists Swindon at the County Ground.
