Luke Moore on Stevenage tie

14 August 2012

Forward relishing his fourth season

Luke Moore enters his fourth season at AFC Wimbledon in fine form after a prolific pre-season campaign.

But the forward is far from resting on his laurels and he is aiming to take that form into Stevenage tonight. Certainly, all AFC Wimbledon supporters will be hoping he can start in similar fashion to last season when he scored a wonderful goal in the 3-2 league cup defeat at Crawley Town.

"I did not have the best of starts to pre-season, but I feel that I am starting to find my form now," he said. "In the West Ham game I felt good and again against Portsmouth. I should have scored a couple more in that game but at least I am getting into the positions and I am sure the goals will come. The second-half against Portsmouth was more up to the standards that we have set ourselves and hopefully we can push on against Stevenage. We are confident that we can go there and win."

Luke was speaking to WDON commentator Rob Cornell in the build-up to tonight's game. To listen to the full interview with Luke, click Dons interview.
