Still a chance to get your bids in
The deadline for AFC Wimbledon supporters to submit online bids for our Silent Auction is fast approaching.
A fantastic range of coveted club memorabilia and fantastic sporting items are up for grabs, but supporters only have until midnight to get their bids in.
The Silent Auction has been gathering pace with a signed Sammy Moore shirt attracting a bid of £200 and all but two of the items now have bids in with all funds raised going towards the Dons Trust.
Paul Jeater, Ray Armfield and the auction team have assembled a wide range of goodies in time for Christmas, including signed books from Olympic golden girls Jessica Ennis and Victoria Pendleton and a signed cycling DVD from Mark Cavendish.
But this year’s annual Dons Trust fundraiser includes not just sporting memorabilia. If you fancy a football-themed birthday party for 10 youngsters to remember, then the Community Football Scheme lot might be for you, or perhaps a match ball or the club’s hospitality package.

In each of the previous years, this event has raised in excess of £2,000 for the Dons Trust – a significant figure towards meeting the Trust’s overall fundraising target.
Once the deadline passes, the event will culminate with a ‘live’ session of bidding in the back bar between 1230 and 1430 hours on Saturday 15 December before the Rotherham United home game.
The way a Silent Auction works couldn’t be simpler. Before Saturday's Rotherham match, visit the back bar, where you’ll be able to examine the lots at first hand and ask any questions you may have. Then, if you wish to bid for an item, simply write your details and your bid on the form by that item – and if your bid is the highest at the closing time of 2.30pm, you’ll have won!
