No pitch inspection needed
After yesterday's intensive work on the pitch, a dry night and with a strong drying wind this morning, the pitch is playable and club officials have declared that today's game is on.Although no formal pitch inspection was called for, the referee arrived early at the stadium. He has walked the pitch and declared that he has no concerns about the game being played on it.
With rain forecast a team of volunteers stands by to carry out more work on the pitch if needed but at present it is considered playable and the match is scheduled to kick off, as planned.
Please note that while the overflow car park is is currently accessible, rain is forecast and so parking there is at the user's risk.
