Join Neal and the players at Winter Wonderland

AFC Wimbledon’s presence at Wimbledon town centre’s Winter Wonderland kicks off a fantastic weekend of events when you can show your colours and support the club in various ways.

 

Supporters can give Neal Ardley and his players an extra special send off before their FA Cup tie on Sunday, 2 December, by attending Wimbledon’s Winter Wonderland three days earlier and we have plenty of entertainment on offer at the Cherry Red Records Stadium on the weekend.

 

The weekend of AFC Wimbledon events starts early on the Thursday and below is the full list of events:

 

Thursday, 29th November

Winter Wonderland

Wimbledon Town Centre (5.00 pm – 8.00 pm)

This is a great community event in Wimbledon town centre and it will see Neal Ardley and his players take part in the annual Christmas parade. 

Joining in the fun will be all of the AFC Wimbledon academy teams , both boys and girls squads.  Following the parade, there will be an opportunity for photographs and a chat with the players to wish them luck. You will find us in the piazza opposite the Centre Court Shopping Centre.

AFC Wimbledon Comedy Night

The Cherry Red Records Stadium (7.30 pm – midnight)

 

is our fantastic headline act.Henning WehnWith 120 tickets already sold, the evening promises to be a fantastic event.  German comic Guests will enjoy a two-course meal prior to the comedy, followed by a disco with the bar open until midnight.

Tickets are £17.50 each or you can purchase a table of 10 for £150. 

Henning has often been on Radio 5 Live programme Fighting Talk and has a good knowledge of the game.

The Beat Goes On @ Kingsmeadow, including DJ Mick Brown’s Club Classics

Main Bar at The Cherry Red Records Stadium (8.00pm – 1.00 am)

The club’s over 30s night, held on the first Saturday of each month is proving to be a popular night out with couples, singles and groups of friends, who just want to dance and have a good night out.   Ex-Capital Radio star DJ Mick Brown, now of Radio Jackie, brings his box of tricks for his Club Classics set and our resident DJ Dougie P sets the bar high with up to date and dance floor fillers.

Admission is just £5. Doors open at 8pm and the event concludes at 1.00 am.  There is no admission after 11.00 pm.

Just for this extraordinary weekend, anyone bringing their Dons season ticket will pay £3 entry on the door. The event is strictly for over 30s only.

Cockney Rejects @ Kingsmeadow Live.
