Team leaders required to raise funds

Fundraising plays a major part in the club’s finances, as highlighted by what was achieved last season at AFC Wimbledon.

For example, in the 2011-2012 season the Dons Trust raised well over £100,000 to help to repay bank loans and pay for expenditure on ground improvements. During this campaign, the club needs to raise funds to help Neal Ardley strengthen his squad.

We have decided to divide fundraising into two parts.  The first is continuing our regular fundraising activities, including the Dons Draw, Golden Goals, silent auctions, the minithon, etc.  The second is major fundraising activities mainly to increase the playing budget.

We are therefore looking for two volunteers to lead these important areas for the club and the Dons Trust – one for each of these major roles.

The successful candidates will need energy, drive, organisational skills, and imagination, and will need to be able to motivate other volunteers to help us move our fundraising activities to a new level.
