Arrangements for supporters
Hundreds of AFC Wimbledon supporters will gather at the Cherry Red Records Stadium on Sunday in an event that has captured the imagination of the media.
We will be showing ITV’s live coverage of the FA Cup tie against Milton Keynes, sponsored by Budweiser, in all three bars with several supporting events also going on.
Sky Sports, BBC Sport and Radio Five Live are all planning to do live broadcasts from the club on Sunday, featuring filming and interviews with supporters.
Below we publish a summary of the arrangements for supporters watching this match at the club:
The car park will be available at The Cherry Red Records Stadium but it is likely to be at least half full with all the cars left by the fans travelling on the coaches. The Safety Officer and Stewards will be available to assist. ·
All three Bars, which will be stewarded, will be open from 11.00 am and entry is by ticket only. Tickets are priced at £3 and a free soft drink, lager or beer will be served in return for a ticket stub. ·
There is good availability in the back bar and President’s Lounge (which is for families only) but the main bar is very nearly sold out. The online ticket facility is now closed but it will be possible to buy tickets for bar entry on Sunday morning between 11.00 am and noon from the complimentary tickets window. This will also be the location from which pre ordered tickets can be collected. ·
There will be a burger bar facility situated in the car park for the purchase of hot drinks and food. ·
There will be a number of activities taking place during the day including face painting in the President’s Lounge, the inflatable shooting challenge and a mascot race in the car park at half time. ·
After the game ends no ticket is necessary for entry to the bars. The bars will be open for fans when they return to the Cherry Red Records Stadium on the coaches which are expected back at about 4.30 pm. ·
