The return of a fantastic night of entertainment

The return of our AFC Wimbledon Comedy Night is sure to offer laughs-a-plenty on Friday, November 30, with a wide variety of entertainment taking to the stage.

German funny man Henning Wehn (pictured) will be offering his unique brand of comedy and he will be joined by other headline acts, including Stuart Mitchell and Nik Coppin.

Guests will also get to enjoy a two-course buffet as part of what promises to be a fantastic night at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.

Here is a short summary of the credentials of our cast:

Henning Wehn

As part of his UK tour, Henning, who is self-styled as “The German Comedy Ambassador in London”, will be popping in and reinforcing one or two stereotypes about the Germans. Henning’s act plays upon the German model of efficiency and the notion that his compatriots have no sense of humour.

Stuart Mitchell

Stuart won The Leicester Comedy Festival New Act of The Year Competition (Funhouse) and in May 2010 became an "internet sensation", according to the Daily Record after he appeared on Frank Skinner's Opinionated TV show. Stuart received a standing ovation from panel members Patrick Kielty, Sarah Millican and Skinner with the BBC using it as one of their highlight videos on YouTube.

Nik Coppin

Nik has performed all over the world and developed an international cult following, having performed many solo shows at the Edinburgh and Adelaide Fringe Festivals, New Zealand and Melbourne International Comedy Festivals and the inaugural Hollywood Fringe Festival in Los Angeles.
