Vintage entertainment on Sunday

We have two big fundraising events at the club this weekend with our Vintage event on Sunday offering alternative fun for all the family.

This Saturday’s Kingsmeadow Live offering features Radio Jackie DJ Mick Brown, formerly of Capital Radio, as our resident DJ at our over 30s night in the main bar. Playing club classics from the past right through to today’s floor-fillers, it promises to be a great night of entertainment. Doors open at 8.00 pm and the party continues until 1.00am for just £5 entry. Please note that people wearing trainers will not be admitted and it is strictly for over 30s.

Throw on your best 50s dress as there will be vintage market stalls, jive classes, live music, DJs, an American style diner, classic cars and hot rods. It will all be opened at 11.00 am by the original Rock and Roll Wild Child and local resident, Wee Willie Harris. There will be a pin up photographer here transforming people into their favourite Hollywood stars.  If you wish to book a session visit, click on

In the evening, The Metrotone Doo Wop band will be on hand to entertain featuring Den Hegarty from 1950s styled band Darts.

Day tickets are just £7 with children under-15 gaining free entry. Combined day and evening tickets are just £16. All funds raised from both events goes towards the club.
