Yado's loan is extended

26 October 2012

Defender will stay with the Dons for another two months

We are pleased to announce that Yado Mambo’s loan spell at AFC Wimbledon has been extended by a further two months.

The 21-year-old Charlton Athletic centre-back has been a pivotal presence at the back during Wimbledon’s recent improvement and he has played all five games since joining the Dons earlier this month.

Wimbledon manager Neal Ardley said: “Yado has come in and played a major part in steadying the ship with the rest of the boys. We have extended his loan by another two months and there is still room for improvement from him.

“Yado has had a good partnership with Will Antwi in our back four, but we defend as a team and credit must also go to the six in front of them.”

Visit Dons Player for a full video interview with Yado Mambo, an extract of which was published on the official website earlier this afternoon.

We are currently still offering a 14-day free trial for Dons Player, our premium site, which also offers video highlights, WDON match commentary and news and insight from the training ground. Supporters still have the opportunity to claim a free 14-day trial until 5 November.
