Line-up for golf event
We are pleased to announce that Terry Brown and his boys will be switching sporting codes for our AFC Wimbledon Golf Day on Wednesday, 26 September.
If you’re a golf enthusiast or a supporter wishing for a friendly battle on the fairways against our AFC Wimbledon management team and several first-teamers, then now is the time to make the cut. Terry, Stuart Cash and Simon Bassey will be joined by Louis Harris, Warren Cummings, Jason Prior, Charlie Strutton and Angus MacDonald at Malden Golf Club for the event with more familiar faces set to be announced soon.
We are also accepting individual entries and if you are not a keen golfer, then why not sign up to be a caddy? In last year’s event, Seb Brown pitched in for success by winning the Straightest Drive competition and his team-mates will be aiming to emulate him in less than three weeks’ time. There will also be a Longest Drive competition, along with the main prize of AFC Wimbledon Golf Day Champions 2012. The competition is open to teams of four, but there is also the opportunity to enter as a team of three and one of our AFC Wimbledon footballers will make up the entry.
