Brain Tumour Charity

 to see more about our work. This aim is shared by our dedicated supporter groups who raise funds for research into brain tumours on behalf of The Brain Tumour Charity. Often, as in Ian’s case, these funds are set up in memory of a loved one who has lost their battle with a brain tumour. CLIC Sargent

Treatment normally starts immediately, is often given many miles from home and can last for up to three years. Being diagnosed with cancer is a frightening experience and the emotional, practical and financial implications of treatment are intensely challenging for the whole family. CLIC Sargent is the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people, and their families. We provide clinical, practical, financial and emotional support to help them cope with cancer and get the most out of life. We are there from diagnosis onwards and aim to help the whole family deal with the impact of cancer and its treatment, life after treatment and, in some cases, bereavement. CLIC Sargent runs a dedicated campaign called the ‘Big Bucket Collection’ in December each year and it would be fantastic if we could link a collection at AFC Wimbledon with our campaign later this year. Hanna's Orphanage

. our websiteWe are Hanna's Orphanage, a small charity set up to help the children of Ethiopia by supporting the expansion and maintenance of Hanna Orphans' Home, an orphanage in Addis Ababa.  We fundraise in the UK and provide the orphanage with money, resources and volunteers to support them. We are entirely volunteer run, with no paid staff, so that the money we raise can go straight to the orphanage.  We will always be able to tell you where your money went and what it was spent on. Healing UK

This includes both children and adults who are afflicted by conditions such as cancer, cerebral palsy and multiple sclerosis.  Our work makes a profound impact and we pledge to help anyone who would benefit from any of our treatments.  Our therapies and services range from massage to psychotherapy and support in helping deal with illness.  We help those who would otherwise be unable to benefit from such needed therapies and services.  We help people with life-limiting and/or life-threatening conditions and offer treatments to help benefit a person’s condition. HealingUK offers free complementary healthcare to people with disabilities which are unavailable or restricted on the NHS.

The Horse Rangers Association

for information.our websiteThe Horse Rangers Association (HRA) is a voluntary youth organisation which supports the personal development of children and young people by teaching them how to ride and care for horses, especially those who would not otherwise have this opportunity. Children gain skills and knowledge, but more importantly they are encouraged to develop responsibility, resilience, care for others and teamwork skills, and to learn the value of hard work and commitment. Rangers earn badges to mark their level of achievement and are encouraged to teach and mentor younger members as they progress. Merton Mencap

At every home Wimbledon match there is a group of 5 or 6 residents that come to matches with their carers. You will usually see them sitting in the middle bar having a thoroughly good time. Surrey Sands

Surrey Sands supports parents across Surrey and across the County boarders.  Our aim is to support anyone affected by the death of a baby during pregnancy, at birth or within the first few weeks of life. This tragedy happens in the UK to 17 babies a day, 6500 babies a year and is non discriminatory across all walks of life.  It is a very misunderstood lifelong grief; Sands are there to offer empathetic support and understanding from the point of loss for as many years as each family requires., which is updated every few days, and gives you a greater understanding of all our support services.our websitePlease have a look at
