Important details about Bristol Rovers trip
AFC Wimbledon holds its annual Volunteers Day at Bristol Rovers on Saturday and we this afternoon publish the arrangements for those planning to attend.
Sponsored by Cherry Red Records, it is an expenses paid trip that rewards the club’s volunteers for all their efforts during the past 12 months (the picture above shows volunteers helping to get the Port Vale match on by clearing snow from the pitch).
The following arrangements apply for Saturday:
Coach pick-up times
Please note these times are strict and the coaches will not wait so please make sure you are there for the pick-up times. The coach will also leave promptly after the game and will not wait for anyone who is late. The volunteer coaches will pick up from The Grove at 8.30 am and from the Cherry Red Records Stadium at 9.00 am.
Going direct to the Bristol Hotel (by train)
Transport will be provided from the Bristol Hotel to Bristol Rovers FC for those who require it. The Bristol Hotel is a 15-minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads Train Station through the city centre.
Going direct to the Bristol Hotel (by car)
You can park there free of charge, just keep your ticket with you and the reception at the Bristol Hotel will give you details to exit the car park without charge. The Bristol Hotel is situated next to NCP Princes Street.

Ticket Collection
If you are dining at The Bristol Hotel prior to the game your ticket will be given to you either on your coach journey or at this venue.
Volunteers have been allocated seated tickets in the South Stand. If you have indicated that you will not be dining and going directly to Bristol Rovers FC you will be able to collect your ticket from the AWAY turnstiles by stating your full name.
