, Arthur said: “I have played full-time football for a lot of my career so it’s not been that hard adjusting, but it is always going to take a little bit of time to make the transition when you have been playing part-time football. “You have always got to work on crossing and quality in the box. I think every player feels their crossing could be better, unless you are talking about David Beckham. I am always working on getting quality into the box.

“I have enjoyed my time so far at Wimbledon because I relish playing in front of a big crowd. Arthur added that Wimbledon’s players are determined to put Saturday’s setback at Exeter behind them against Scunthorpe United.

“We were shown a video of the match at Exeter to highlight the things that we need to do better and as long we put it into practice on Saturday then we will be fine,” he said. “It was a bad performance, but that’s going to happen during a season.
