Midfielder eigible for Dagenham match
We are pleased to confirm that the club’s appeal against George Francomb’s sending off on Boxing Day has been successful.
Referee Graham Scott adjudged that the midfielder’s challenge on Rob Kiernan in the match against Southend United was worthy of a straight red card, but that has now been rescinded after an appeal to the FA.
Francomb (pictured) is therefore eligible to play in the New Year’s Day clash at Dagenham & Redbridge, the club that he made his Wimbledon debut against in a 2-2 draw last season at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.
