The defender, who signed for Wimbledon on loan at the end of last month, broke down in training a day before the Bristol Rovers match.
Neal Ardley explained: “Kevin suffered an injury a day before the Bristol Rovers match, but we did not know how serious it was at the time. After following the correct medical procedures, it is clear that the injury will keep Kevin out for a number of weeks.
“It is a grade two hamstring strain and Kevin has therefore gone back to Charlton for treatment. We will assess the situation in due course.”
